Saturday, July 21, 2207 was Lennox's first show. He came to us as a 18 month old male with a wonderful personality. Everyone just loved him including our handler and she said we would be crazy not to put him in the ring. There was just one problem, he had never even seen a ring before. Never the less,5 we decided to enter him in a match at the Reliant Center in Houston. That was the most stressfull time for me because I was so nervous for him being his first time ever!!! To my surprize, Lennox did great and won his class and marched all the way to second place in the Working Group! What a rush and this was just a match! And the good times didn't stop there!
After the wonderful job Lennox did in Houston I couldn't hold him back any longer. On August 31of 2007 we marched into Monroe and realized things are not always so easy. I looked at all those dogs Lennox was going to have to get into the ring with and I was scared all over again. The first 2 days he placed 4th and the next 2 days brought a 3rd and a 2nd. Considering what he was up against we felt very luck and oh so proud of Lennox and how he had grown up in such a short time.
On October 5, 2007 we were back in Texas for our first show on dirt and no A/C! Even though the elements changed Lennox never missed a beat. He was back on his way to the head of the pack with a 1st and a RW. What a great time and we are enjoying this wonderful ride.
We would like to share with everyone Lennox's win in Beaumont and to let everyone know that this was Easton's first weekend out and he did wonderfull. We are very proud to announce that on April 25th both of the boys placed second and on Sunday both of them won their class. It was a very exciting weekend and from the looks of things there will be more to come.
